Sunset

The sunset on Texel is beautiful, on the entire west side on the island there is a beach and you can see the sun sink into the sea. The best time is the last hour when the sun is just sinking into the sea. However, it is very difficult to predict, sometimes during the day it seems that we get a beautiful sunset and then the sun drops behind the clouds early. But if it works out, we'll have a beautiful photo shoot on Texel.

While the shoreline is stunning, the beautiful orange glow of the sunset by the beach houses is equally breathtaking. This warm hue adds a special touch to your wedding photos. The beach houses are found on almost all the beach entrances, and by evening, they're often deserted as the owners have gone home. For me, as a wedding photographer on Texel, this is ideal since we have ample space and beautifully closed beach houses. It often serves as a moment for the two of you to pause, look deeply into each other's eyes, and realize how unique your wedding day on Texel truly is.
